I am reaching out to ask for your help in reaching students for Christ at the University of Minnesota. Our student leadership team, called Catalyst, is one of the strongest ways we reach out to students on campus and help get others connected to Christ in The Navigators. I have the privilege of helping with a Catalyst women’s Discipleship Group (Bible Study) a couple times a month during the semester. Being able to have these times truly connecting with students is one of the highlights of my job!
The students in these groups minister to new students, lead teams, and share God’s word with others. Four of the six women I meet with, go on to lead two other freshman Bible Studies. Another mentors the underclassmen and the last woman leads the worship team at Nav Night. Their impact is multiplied more than what I or other staff could be doing on our own. However, describing their roles does not adequately reflect the growth that these students experience in their faith, or the relationships that are built between them. While attending this group I am able to have time to build relationships with many of the student leaders. This allows me to share what God has taught me, and some of the life lessons I have learned along the way.
Would you prayerfully consider enabling my ministry with a donation?
- I am looking to raise $788 in monthly commitments, and $2,000 in one-time gifts
- Gifts of $100, $200, $500, or more will help continue my work on campus
This will allow me to continue to meet with these women and serve other staff with my administrative gifts. It also enables me to focus my time helping others, instead of spending time on fundraising.
Thank you for investing in students’ lives through this strategic ministry. Together we can reach students for Christ, help them grow in their faith, and equip them to be influential for God’s Kingdom throughout their lives.
